CPA-CPA Partnership Announced

CPA Members,
I’m pleased to announce a strategic partnership between Colorado Pilots Association and Cessna Pilots Association going forward. Last Monday (6/2), I attended their monthly Board of Directors meeting, gave a brief presentation on Cessna Pilots Association, and introduced myself and our organization to their members.
As many of you know, we departed our long-time SoCal home a few years ago and established a new office in Denver, CO. Now that we’re fully entrenched, it’s important that we connect with and support the local aviation community–particularly GA. To do this, I reached out to Colorado Pilots Association President Adrian Nye to discuss opportunities between the two groups.
Colorado Pilots Association has been serving CO pilots since 1972, and is dedicated to making Colorado a better, safer, and more desirable place to fly. They strive to promote aviation safety, protect the rights of pilots, and be a voice for pilots in Washington, D.C. As you can see, they align with our values 110%.
Furthermore, they grant 5 annual scholarships to empower and enable the next generation of Colorado aviators to take to the skies, and we are very proud to say that our corporate sponsorship is contributing to those very scholarships.
Along with their community outreach and events, CPA puts on yearly Mountain Flying Clinics. These clinics provide high-elevation airport operations ground school and an optional mountain cross-country flight. As Cessna Pilots Association looks to expand and diversify its courses, opportunities like Colorado Pilot’s Mountain Flying aligns with our interests. If you’re interested in attending a Mountain Flying course this year, there are three dates on the calendar. They are:
Saturday, June 21, from 8:30AM-5Pm
Saturday, August 16, 8:30-5
Saturday, September 27, 8:30-5

We’re excited to be working closely with them going forward, and if you’d like to hear more about it, email Brian Brieske at [email protected]. Let us know if you attend or become a member there, and if courses like Mountain Flying are of interest. While we will always offer Systems & Procedures Courses (with more models and dates on the horizon), we will begin rolling out others, such as Pilot Performed Preventative Maintenance, Avionics and Rigging Short Courses, and more.
We have many exciting things on the horizon here, and we can’t wait to share it with you all.
