I also had a similar problem in retracting the gear. The pump did not stop and green light was off.
I just extract the gear and everithing was ok and landed safely.
At the time the reason for the fault was the mounting screw of a micro on the main gear which unscrewed a little bit ,not so much to be visible.
Visually everithing was ok but I…[Read more]
just a silly question, may be very silly..: having the O2 bottles very near to the spar, in case of the eddy current test is there any risk with the O2 which justify to get away the bottles ?
Yesterday I was able to post a comment to FAA site.
I copy it here.
I enclosed also the CESSNA original W&B document where is reported the factory corrosion proof.
May be it could be usefull if other CESSNA members add theyr comments in the FAA page.
Agency: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Document Type: Rulemaking
Paul,as per many posts in this forum, including mine T210M), there are versions of the 210 (M and before) which were delivered with the corrosion proof optional included.
As can be useless and time consuming for FAA that everybody of us call FAA for questions,
my question is if there is some association which refers this case to FAA
my T210M s.n. 61910 dtd 1977 is in the same condition. It has corrosion proof from the factory.FAA excluded the latest version because of the corrosion proof.FAA also ask for comment but I am from Italy and it hard for me to have access of the FAA procedure.
what can I do ?
It is more likely to be even if it is marked in “inches HG altitude x1000” and is manufactured by aerosonic. Only question ,if it is what you say ,is the utility to have a warning altitude in inches HG and not in feet while even the pressurization system is in feet and psi.
If you get wife and kids at altitude where the pressurization is needed and above the weather, let’s say 20k feet I would suggest you keep with you an oxigen bottle for safety reason.
The P210 have chemical cartridge to produce oxigen in case of lost of pressurization. The cartridge allows 4 minutes of o2 at 20k feet just enough to descend at…[Read more]
a friend just bought a P210 provided with intercooler and temperature sensor for it.
I discovered that if the temp of the intercooler is lower of a certain value the pilot must reduce the map to avoid to exceed the max power. In other word with low temp in the intercooler the map you read gives more power compared with the same model without…[Read more]
I do not know type and year of Aircraft you fly,but may be there is a simple trick to check.
the ligher could have a breaker included that can be resetted just with a paper clip.
May be that is the only reason of your problem.
Look at the pages included .they come from the service manual of a T210M
just to add something more:
there is a good article in the CPA magazine Vol 17 n.9,10,11. about 400b
my configuration is :
hsi ki525a picture nav indicator
kg102a directional gyro
ka57 autopilot adapter
I have 530 with HSI and 400b.they work perfectly either in goto (or bug in the hsi) and in nav with the Yellow arrow of the hsi.The system work perfectly in cdi mode and in gps mode.It follows the approach procedures included in the 530 and when in procedure it change automatically from gps to cdi to engage the ils.By sure they fly much better…[Read more]
I need to change the teflon hoses in the engine compartment of my T210M.
When the pervious owner changed the engine in 2003 he also installed :
Hose Kit (aeroquip) pn 1449-2 (now not present anymore in the Eaton Catalogue).
Is anybody awere of what or how many hoses were included in the kit ?
when trying to apply the rich to peak procedure on the EDM700 in flight I got a strange message the meaning I did not find in the manual.
When leaning the cyl n.5 started blinking and aside of the egt temperature of that cylinder the two letters ES were also blinking.
Anybody can give me an advice ?.
The cyl n5 was not the hottest. The hottest…[Read more]
my T210M with dual vacuum pump and goodrich deice has a “vacuum manifold ” that I have now to replace or overhaul.I have not pn or manufacturer in my files.
I just traced in an old file a sn C03AA313R M . I took a picture of it

Have you checked the stall leap on the right wing ? (I know it is obvious…)
It could be in short. Try to find the wires in entrance to the unit coming from the the stall device and check if they are closed when the stall device is at rest.
If that is ok, then try to check the wires going out of the dual worning unit for the same problem.
Does anybody have a picture of the inside or an exploded view of the item in the annex at point 17 with pn 1243406-1 ?
The part is the only connection between pedals and nose gear. I think it has a spring inside and I have found no maintenance in the service manual.
I am concerned about the fact that if it brakes in departure I will have no…[Read more]
