If you own, fly or maintain any of the Legacy182 models, this course is for you. The three days of the course cover the details of every system in the aircraft: flight controls, landing gear, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, pressurization, propeller, powerplant, engine management, and Paul News’s tactical and strategic engine data analysis.

Paul New will be your instructor for this class. Paul holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate with FAA Inspection Authorization. He was an FAA Designated Airworthiness Representative for a few years as well. In 2007 he was selected as the FAA National Aviation Maintenance Technician of the Year.

This is a ticket to the live, in person event in Corona, CA, October 17-19. There is no virtual or other video options for this event.

Description

CPA will conduct this total-immersion, 3-day course on the Cessna Legacy 182 (1956 – 1986) in Corona, CA on October 17-19. The course will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday and wrap up Sunday about 12:00 pm

The course will be held at the Fairfield by Marriott Norco Hotel, 3441 Hamner Ave, Norco, CA. For those flying in we will be using the Corona Airport (AJO). The hotel is located 5 miles from the airport.

For commercial flights, Ontario International Airport is 19 miles away. John Wayne Airport is 30 miles from the hotel. 

Lunch will be provided Saturday and Sunday. Snacks and beverages will be in the meeting room all three days.

You can make your room reservations at the Fairfield by Marriott Norco Hotel by calling 951-340-4500 or online with this link. The room rate is $145 for either a King or 2 Queens per night plus tax and includes a full hot breakfast. Be sure you let them know you are attending the Cessna Pilots Legacy182 Course. Reservations MUST be made by Monday, September 15th to guarantee rate and room availability. Cancellations must be made by 12:00 pm, two days prior to arrival.

Course cancellations cannot be made within 14 days of the course start date. Cancellations received between 15 and 30 days are eligible for a refund of half the tuition. Cancellations made prior to 30 days are eligible for a full refund minus the $100 deposit.
